Almol Officially Opens New High Tech Facility - January 2011

Almol has officially opened their new facility in Matraville. "We have completed the transition with all our NSW operations functioning from the new facility" said Managing Director David Moses.

After years of planning, construction of the new facility commenced in 2009. “Our original premises at Botany served us well, but that building was no longer adequate for our increasing volume and expansion into new markets”.

"We have also established new internal divisions which are focused on developing new products and technologies utilizing the high tech equipment we have installed. Construction was completed earlier this year and with the transition of staff and installation of new equipment, the facility is now fully operational”.



ALMOL Achieves AQIS Approval For New Facility - September 2010

Today, the new Almol facility located in Matraville, 9km south of Sydney has officially been approved by AQIS.

Construction of the new facility was completed in August and is already in operation as the head office for Almol's international casings business.

With approval from AQIS, the new facility will now act as the primary warehouse and distribution centre.

From 8 to 13 May, the industry is showed the latest technologies and solutions for slaughtering, processing, packaging and selling at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre. During the 6 days, 58,000 decision makers visited the world’s leading trade fair for the meat-processing sector.






Almol exhibits meat processing equipment at IFFA 2010 - 19/05/10

For the first time, Almol Australia joined IFFA as an exhibitor with a display of meat processing equipment.

Almol Commences Construction Of New High Tech Facility - 07/01/09

Today Almol Casings commenced construction at their new premises located in Matraville, just 9km south of the Sydney CBD.

Managing Director David Moses commented “While our existing office in Botany has served us well for over 40 years, we are taking this opportunity to upgrade all aspects of our operation with a new custom built facility.

He continued, “Our expanding product range is the driving force beyond the new development. Our move into meat processing equipment in 2003 has matured with a substantial customer base across both Australia and New Zealand and this year will see the introduction of animal byproducts specifically designed for the bio tech industry”.

Once completed in the second quarter of 2010, the new facility will be three times the size of the existing premises. It will contain a new processing plant and will serve as the head office for Almol Casings Pty Ltd, Almol Holdings Pty Ltd, Almol Equipment Pty Ltd and a new division Almed BioTech.
